The icon used as cover of the new book
Magdalen Lawler SND has just published her latest book, "Well of Living Water". You can see from the cover that it is on the subject of the Samaritan Woman. It has 9 short chapters with reflections and additional scripture. Magdalen has tried to remain faithful to the gospel but also to reclaim the status of the Samaritan Woman.
The icon that features in the book is in the possession of the British province of the Jesuits and the book has been sponsored by them and published by Messenger Ireland. Nicholas King SJ has gifted his translation of the bible to Magdalen, and Tom McGuinness SJ has written a new song which features in the book.
