Feast of St Julie celebrated in Glasgow May 2017
About a hundred people gathered to celebrate St Julie's feast with Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Glasgow ... Sisters, friends, colleagues. school children from Notre Dame High Glasgow all enjoyed participating in the festivities, remembering our Notre Dame roots, and heritage and thanking God for knowing a wonderful, smiling , Saint .....

Fr Jim Lawlor, celebrant, and friend welcomed us to a very enjoyable eve ... The Eucharist was one of thanksgiving and joy and was enhanced by the girls from the school as they dramatised the life of the Foundress during the homily. Julie and Françoise the co- Foundress told their story of the early beginnings of Notre Dame in France and Belgium.

As always, we shared a delicious buffet over which many friendships were renewed and re awakened. Indeed a very pleasant enjoyable feast which echoed the Notre Dame motto .... the Good God is Very Good!
